Dr. Jason Abney
Medical Director
Dr. Abney's unique passion for Geriatric Care makes him a wonderful addition to our team. His compassion working with the elderly started at a young age because of the loving relationship he had with his grandparents. He helps countless families through practicing homebound medicine with the House Call Doctors Medical Group and as the Medical Director of Silverado Hospice Orange County.
Dr. Abney believes that the mission of hospice care should be to provide the most compassionate and dignified experience possible for both the patient and their families during one of the most difficult transitions that we can experience. He believes in bringing quality of life to the very end. When learning of the matching philosophies that Silverado Hospice embodies, he knew it would be a company that he could proudly represent.
Dr. Abney is board certified in Family Medicine and his residency training program specialized in Geriatric Medicine where he served as Chief Resident. He is also a Medical Director for Home Health as well as an Associate Medical Director of his medical group. He also teaches medical students and residents with whom he is able to share his passion for geriatric and hospice medicine.

Jennifer is the Director of Patient Care Services Silverado Hospice and is an experienced geriatric RN with more than five years of management experience in both the hospice and residential care facility setting. She earned her nursing degree from Saddleback community college and is known for her clinical expertise and desire to provide patients and families with excellent care.
