Risa Bishop

Administrator
Risa came to Silverado Senior Living – Escondido in 2008 and is currently serving as the Administrator for our Beach Cities community. With over 15 years of sales and marketing experience. After many years of high pressure sales jobs, Risa came to the conclusion that she wanted her professional life to mirror that which was in her heart; the desire to serve others. Risa is passionate about her job and enthusiastic about sharing the Silverado message. Risa assists families in making the difficult decisions surrounding the care of their loved ones. 

Risa became familiar with Silverado when she worked for the San Diego Union Tribune and helped put together the San Diego Eldercare Directory. Risa has a personal interest in dementia care as some of her own family members have suffered from the disease. In addition, when she was just 15 years old she was a caregiver in a nursing home that specialized in Alzheimer’s care. She has come full circle. 

Risa continues her education both outside of Silverado and within the company having completed Silverado’s Life Leaders training and becoming a 2010 graduate of the Silverado Leadership Development Forum.

Miriam Perez

Assistant Director of Health Services
Giving life and providing world class care is Silverado’s purpose. Miriam Perez has dedicated most of her working career to serving the needs of seniors needing long-term care and assistance. She joined Silverado Senior Living in 1997 and received her Nursing training at Silverado's Sierra Vista and The Huntington communities where she worked for 7 years. Having the unique opportunity to be actively involved with the renovation and opening of Silverado Senior Living – Tustin Hacienda in 2007 and in 2009 she was part of the opening of Silverado’s first urban model in Redondo Beach- Silverado beach Cities. In 2005 The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) awarded Miriam with the "National Nurse Hero award of the Year". Caring for seniors and families is Miriam’s passion. Everyday making sure that she makes a difference in everyone’s life and that she provides World class nursing care.

Laurie Glover

Community Ambassador

Laurie comes to Silverado with several years of sales and marketing experience.  She loves working in the Senior Living industry because she cared for her grandparents towards their end of life.  She has a special place in her heart for those suffering with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease as she has provided in home care for many stricken with the disease.   She has a vast knowledge of end of life issues, resources for families and she loves to provide education to those in need.  Laurie’s personal experience with volunteering for hospice and care giving give her an empathetic approach with offering professionals resources and services.

Maria Inductivo, a.k.a. La La

Director of Resident Engagement
Maria Inductivo started at Silverado Senior Living - Sierra Vista on November 2002, as a RNA (Restorative Nurse Assistant) and worked hand-in-hand with the Physical Therapist. She transitioned into the Activities Department in June 2003. 

Her heart has always belonged to "caring” for people. Earlier in her career, she worked at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Her view of a nursing home completely changed once she was introduced to assisted living and Silverado’s and its philosophy of giving life. Maria embraced Silverado’s teaching on valuing the dignity of life and the true meaning of behavior management. At Silverado, she learned to love residents as her own family and found fulfillment in caring for them. She took a leave in 2005 and joined Silverado Senior Living – Beach Cities in February of 2010, her Silverado home. Maria graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Tourism in the Philippines.

David Diers

Director of Plant Operations
David was born and raised in the Beach Cities and is a resident of Redondo Beach. He considers himself blessed to live so close to where he works. As a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and an avid surfer, fisherman and boater he has a love for the ocean.” It is remarkable to look out the windows of our community and see a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the South Bay”. David is a father of two children his daughter is attending UCSC and his son attends middle school in Redondo Beach, he has been married for over twenty two years he loves the community and what it has to offer. “I find it ironic that I am working in the building where my daughter was born”. With over twenty year in facilities and technical management he enjoys the challenge of plant operations and working with the caring associates. He love the fact that he can give back to the community he loves so much.
