Nichole enjoys how Silverado incorporates pets into the everyday lives of our residents. She believes in all of the services Silverado provides, from At Home to flex care to Community Living. Each service is vital in a person’s quality of life as they progress in their dementia needs. Her two Labradoddles, Major and Vince, are a big part of her life as well as her husband and their soon to be baby boy.

Born and raised in Rowlett, Texas, Tina attended East Field College in Mesquite. She married her middle school sweetheart, and together they have a beautiful daughter Kaylee Rae. Her husband is a youth minister, and the Norvell family is devoted to assisting with church activities and helping those in need. They frequently volunteer at events sponsoring special needs children. Charitable and generous, Tina has a huge heart, and her passion is serving others. She’s also a terrific cook, bringing in delicious treats and meals for our residents, associates and families.

For many years Tomika volunteered and worked for nursing homes while going to school. She received her certification for Computer Office Specialist/Accounting Clerk and later attended WV State University majoring in Accounting. 

Tomika is the mother of five beautiful children; they began working as volunteers for Silverado since 2006. Immediately, Tomika was astonished in the difference between Silverado and all the other communities she had been in. Residents and families at Silverado were happier and more engaged than she had ever seen. Tomika knew right away in her heart that she wanted to be apart of what was being given to Silverado’s residents; “LIFE!”
