Dr. Elizabeth Coon-Nguyen
Medical Director
Dr. Elizabeth Coon-Nguyen is the Medical Director for Silverado Senior Living - Kingwood.
Kathleen J. Holloway
Director of Resident Engagement
Kathleen Holloway became part of the Silverado family in 2003 as the Resident Engagement Director at the Woodlands community. In November of 2006, Kathleen transferred to the Kingwood community and now calls Kingwood Silverado her home away from home. Kathleen loves the opportunity she has to get to know the residents and their families.
Kathleen has worked in the geriatric care setting for 24 years. She began her career in Southern California at a 500-bed skilled nursing community, where her father was a resident. While she was visiting her father she discovered her love of seniors. Kathleen loves to share her life with the seniors and hear all the life stories and words of wisdom that they love to share with her. Kathleen later relocated to Oregon, where she resumed her role as an Activity Director at another skilled nursing community. After 8 years in Oregon, she and her family decided to relocate to Texas to be closer to family.
Kathleen has been married to her husband Scott since 2000, with whom she has four beautiful children. They have a very busy life, but always find time for their favorite activities: camping, hiking, fishing, golf, swimming, and spending time together as a family.
Daniel Pasho
Director of Culinary Services
Daniel Pasho joined Silverado in 2011 as a cook and was promoted to Director of Culinary Services in May 2012. Daniel has an extensive culinary background that includes restaurant ownership, management and experience as a personal chef. He attended the University of Texas and received a culinary degree with honors from the Art Institute of Houston. He enjoys integrating resident recipes and favorite foods into our community’s daily menu.
Cindy Reilly
Business Office Manager
Cindy Reilly has been the Business Office Manager at our community since 2000 and joined Silverado with extensive experience in banking operations, human resources, and insurance billing within long-term care settings. Cindy has personal experience with dementia in her own family and is grateful to have the opportunity to support other affected families every day.
Michael Birkenfeld
Director of Plant Operations
Mike Birkenfeld joined the Silverado family as a Plant Operations Assistant at our Kingwood community and his exceptional work and attention to detail later led to his promotion as the Director of Plant Operations at Silverado – The Woodlands. Now, Mike is excited to be back at our quaint community and often brings his wife and children to assist with resident engagements, community celebrations and other events.
Amanda Douglas, LVN
Director of Health Services
Amanda joined Silverado in 2005 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at our Sugar Land community, where she received various recognitions and promotions before ultimately joining our Kingwood family as the Director of Health Services. Amanda holds a wide range of licenses and specializations, including an Associate’s degree of Applied Sciences in Nursing, a Registered Nurse license and a certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
