Daizel_gasperian

Daizel Gasperian

Senior Administrator
Growing up, Daizel was surrounded with family members working in various healthcare professions. So it was natural for her to follow with family tradition. Daizel initially attended the University of California in Irvine as a pre-med student, but soon fell in love with Business Administration. Graduating with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Business Administration, she entered USC’s Masters in Business Administration program. Still passionate about working in the healthcare industry, she completed the masters program with an emphasis in healthcare administration.

She began her career working as a Marketing Director for a skilled nursing facility and soon was accepted into an Administrator in Training Program. Daizel’s training emphasized quality assurance involving every aspect of operations in different types of long-term care settings. She obtained her Nursing Home Administrator license in 1997.

Daizel has come full-circle and is passionate about her career. She joined Silverado Senior Living – Escondido in November 2004. In 2009, Daizel became the Administrator of Silverado Senior Living - Belmont Hills. She is proud to be part of the Silverado family.

Veronica Arellano

Director of Resident & Family Services
Veronica Arellano joined the Silverado - Belmont Hills team in 2009 as the Director of Resident and Family Services.  Veronica graduated from Stanford University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology.  Prior to Silverado, Veronica worked as a researcher in children's mental health and education policy.

While working as a researcher, Veronica had often times considered working with the elderly but was hesitant to make a career change.  She decided to volunteer at a community for the elderly before making a final decision.  She volunteered at Silverado for five months as an activities assistant.  There, she realized how much she enjoyed working with these individuals and came to love the fulfillment that she felt after each visit.  Veronica has been working with Silverado ever since!
Anna_epstein

Anna Epstein

Family Ambassador
Anna comes to Silverado Belmont Hills with over 20 years experience in High Tech Sales, Media Sales and Management – an interesting turn given Anna’s Bachelor degree is in Physical Therapy. Anna had enough of Silicon Valley and was adamant about working in a field that had more of a heart and to making a contribution to the senior community.

Anna became closely acquainted with dementia when she moved into her mother’s home to be primary caregiver for her mother who was diagnosed with dementia towards the end of her life.

When not enjoying the Community and its’ residents, Anna enjoys her graduate courses in the Gerontology Master’s Program at Notre Dame University, traveling outside the U.S., entertaining and attending film festivals, especially the Sundance Film Festival.
