End of Life Care

Silverado cares for the residents throughout the progression of their condition. Only 1.8% of Silverado residents are discharged to a skilled nursing facility. In other assisted livings, 33.5% of residents will be discharged out to skilled nursing. Silverado is the last home for most of our residents. This spares the resident the trauma of having to transfer out to an acute-care hospital or nursing home as they decline. Over 92 % of Silverado residents will pass away at their Silverado community, most of them supported by hospice care.
