Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias. In addition, Silverado’s
team prepares a personalized care plan that builds on your loved one’s

Your loved one will benefit directly from Silverado’s high
caregiver-to-resident ratio, composed of a trained and experienced team
in Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, with special skills in the
area of behavioral interventions. At Silverado, we are committed to

physical restraints and minimal use of medications. Silverado is proud
of our philosophy of using resident redirection and validation to assist
in behavior modification. Silverado has a low rate of psychotropic
medication use and frequently evaluates residents to reduce unnecessary
medication use.

Silverado offers a diverse range of activities which stimulate social,
cognitive and physical abilities, utilizing the latest techniques for
the care of residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.
Activities include music, intergenerational programs, gardening,
resident pets, hobby and workshops.
Country kitchens replace traditional nursing stations, with 24-hour
healthy snacks available. At Silverado, our goal is to make each day a

That’s why we take special care to offer support to the families of
our residents. Professionally led family/caregiver support groups,
educational programs, day and respite care are available to assist the

residents 24-hour licensed nursing services with expertise in behavioral
interventions and chronic disease management.
We also accommodate individual dietary or medication needs. People with
